Heavy bursts lasting about 10 seconds long repeatedley on, off, on, off.
Sort of wet and slushy stuff too.

grrr. came to work on the motorbike this morning - and it looks like i'll be leaving it here overnight. just had about an inch drop in 20 minutes, and it's still coming strong and sticking. FAIL!

Snow hasn't stopped for the best part of two hours. Still very little has settled but it is starting to a bit more due to the sheer volume.

Preston update, been snowing wetly for an hour which has made a slushy mess really.

Been fat and heavy for last few minutes which is properly settling although its struggling and limited in scope.

it started quite heavy but is small flakes now, it is settling though.

Keeps getting heavier, Preston, looking at the radars it will will keep at this pace for another 20-30 minutes before easing away. Still, thats gonna be plenty of time to cause some problems on the roads et al.

It has just slackened off a bit here now. But no doubt will still have snowed enough to affect my journey home on the M62.

jesus christ, the whole of stanley rd and commercial towards vaxhaul was a complete mess last time, roads clear sheets of ice and line of cars for about a mile or so. all bec of no money for grit.

Still very heavy in Stockport. It's not sticking to the roads much though thankfully.
