It's snowing

A fair amount of snow in the high areas of Bath. Got back from Birmingham and it was very very slippery (a fair amount of black ice too) - traction control and ABS/BAS were going crazy. -2C tonight at least and I have to travel to Soutwales at 7am - should be fun :)

Drove back from Bristol to Bath at 5PM.

  • Bristol was pretty heavily snowing, but only settling on mud/concrete. Not on grass/tarmac.
  • Motorway was snowing nearly as heavy and a right PITA. Polish truck undertook everyone... probably thought the snow was nothing compared with their's :D.
  • Round Bath way it wasn't as heavy, and in the city centre it was more like rain than snow. Driving up out of the city it turns back into snow and is settling on grass and pavements.
  • Come up my road, lovely 1/4 hill, and the road's white. Car was struggling for grip. Both the front and rear lawn were completely covered as was my drive.

Whilst driving I was a very cheery "**** off stupid ****ing snow", but now I'm back I'm all for it .

To be fair, I overtook everyone as it was not sticking to the motorway. Bath town was clear, but The University of Bath was another story though on high ground. Snow/ice and a complete nightmare. Really wasn't expecting it.

Lol yeah I know the cafe, just by the train station, never been there though,

Love it when it snows up that way :) Gets abit hectic on the roads though

Were going to be moving from that business park soon as we have just bought an ex-ambulance centre and were turning it in to a data centre.

Do you still live up that way? is it still snowing? I live down by the Severn Bridge

Just got a sneaky shot from my window. I would go outside but it's pretty nippy out there :p
Sorry for the (i)phone snap ;)
