I am less than three miles away in Aldermaston. I swear it is rain.

I shoukd go outside to check but am scared of being eaten by the wolves that roam here. :p
Surely you should have no trouble seeing them as everything in Aldermaston glows in the dark ;)

Been snowing for at least 4 hours now, since I got up at half 8.

Must be another couple of hours onto that as well. :)

It's better to have a school with the work 'gay' in it than have it closed down and turned in to a Rehab clinic (which they were planning to do).

They have rehab clinics for gays now?

On a snow related note,
was sat in my car along with hundreds of other drivers last night from 4pm till 11pm on a notorious stretch of the A38 in Devon.
Not sure what a post apocalyptic world would look like, but I'm guessing that the image of that road last night would feature somewhere in it.

It stopped here a while back and it’s brightened up. The band of snow has passed and this should be the start of the second and final thaw.

In Preston currently, just saw a *********.

On the subject of schools closing, some really do close too early. My local in N.Yorks only closed once we had had 11.5" of snow, most of the pupils get in from remote locations. Government preparation and advice is dismal as always.

Because it isn't a Plough ! Lol EggFace. :D

That looks like a plough attachment on the front of it

And if you are trying to be clever about it being written as "plow" then don't be, "plough" is accepted as an alternative spelling.

Few of the students at my school got whiplash due to a bus crashing, the majority have been sent home.

Lots of light gusty, blowing snow here in Preston.

Not enough to start settling, its just swirling about the place really.
