Noticed last week that our council has put fences up at the grit stock pile I can only assume this is too stop people from stealing the grit/salt.

As for snow we haven't had any for 11 days although the was a lot of frost yesterday when it dropped to -7

That map is so wrong, it aint snowing here where i am in B'ham, and i'm right by the city centre.
