A bit windy, plenty of snow to last a while yet though. I'll probably wait till after Easter hols before I head up again, rather too busy for me.
 
Looking at the webcams the snow has melted a bit since I was up there a month ago. According to the weather report its warmer there than it is in Edinburgh!
 
Snowing this morning on my way to work from Darlington to Peterlee, started to lay on the ground as well but not enough to cover the road surface, that didn't stop people from slowing down to 30 on a dual carriageway though.
 
from the looks of the inches and inches of frost that's accumulated on everything i can see out the window, i could confidently say that were it to precipitate, it would snow.

unfortunately, the sky's clear as a whistle.

It makes the road slick you crazy person, rather 30mph than the chance of going off the road.
