There gets to a point where putting salt down does nothing. I put a load down on the drive a few days ago. It's now under 2 foot of snow!

Farmer ploughed our road but I think he just took off all the snow and left the ice! Meant to be flying to London tomorrow, not even sure if I can get out of the house...

Excellent, had a pathetic 2min dust of snow earlier. I'm prepared, been out today and bought boots and waterproof gloves. Come on snow!

Can't believe there is little snow in Leeds, over in Hull there is at least 5 inches on the ground

....be interesting to see how much different the CR-V is in the stuff compared to the Type-R last year.

my type-R was brilliant last year.

you recon getting to leeds on train will be all right tomorrow morning? typical, out of the whole year, next week's when i have to go up.

Just driven from Consett - count durham to north yorkshire. The main roads such as the A1 etc are ok however consett itself was terrible! I was parked on a ever so slight hill and my car just couldn't get up it, ended up rolling backwards

Really like this thread and seeing all the different views of the snow from over the UK. Awesome.

We haven't had that much here in NI although the roads are still covered in snow and frozen over. Strong sun today melted quite a bit that was lying in the fields/hedges.

It must have been cold last night, all the windows in my house were frosted up on the inside :eek:

. Last year there was a bit of ice at the bottom of the pane on a few windows but not the full piece of glass, completely iced up.
