It's snowing

Grit doesn't stop snow settling.

It was fairly clear there was no grit on the road, it's generally possible to see it. Considering it had been snowing most of the morning I'd assumed they would have had the gritters out.

And the fact that in my 3 hour drive I didn't see a single one on any road.

It was -1 when I left my mates last night at about 9.45 and thought it was going to continue to get colder overnight but this morning I woke up to 5 degrees and rain.. Weird!

north yorkshire moors near Blakey ridge are supposedly pretty bad tonight with snow according to my facebook feed.

We were predicted snow today...instead it was clear skies, but rather chilly (1-3 degrees) (south of France)

Just over a month ago it was still in the 20s during the day :(

I don't care if it snows or not. Im off sick from work for about 6 weeks give or take. I've had surgery on my left knee on Tuesday.

So it can snow all it like for the next 2 months as i wont give a toss. Lol

I've got a few days of driving down to London and back so I hope it doesn't bloody snow.

Then again, the roads are never really that bad unless you get a load of surprise snow.

It can snow after 13 Dec when my current contract ends. As long as I don't have to drive in it, or sit in queues of traffic full of morons who lose the ability to drive as soon as the weather changes slightly, I'm not bothered either ;)

Got caught in this on my drive home from Berwick yesterday morning.

Rather surprised the A1 hadn't been gritted.

Why are you surprised?
