It's snowing

Road just after leaving Crianlarich this morning. Straight for a mile and good for 80mph usually but I was rolling along at under 30mph.

Connel was mainly hailstones, as I left it got snowy with two voids for the car wheels but that was the worst!

Glasgow was hilarious as someone had flipped there car on the M8. Got to work at 10.40am when I was meant to start at 9.30am.

Had about 4-5 inches of snow here between yesterday evening and this afternoon. Been working from home today and during the day a family has been out, cleared the road and gritted what they'd cleared (at their own expense I'd guess) which seemed to me a very nice thing to do.

After I'd finished work I was out clearing the pavements outside my house and this guy was walking down the road kicking snow over the road the family had cleared. When I asked what he was doing he said the grit would "ruin his bike"

1) How much cycling you going to be doing in half a foot of snow?
2) There's grit on every other ******* road, so where you cycling to?
3) Stop being a ****

Had about a half an inch of snow in Surrey just as I was leaving work. Naturally this caused gridlock. Managed to get back to the office, abandon my car and got train home. Snow is such a pita :o

Seems to be snowing everywhere except where I am.

Started snowing heavily as I left work in Orpington tonight. I thought "Ooooh, might get interesting!"

By the time I was halfway home, just wet and miserable, but the traffic was still like there was 6 foot of snow on the ground.

:(

still not really had any snow in newcastle apart from when it's been to wet for it to properly settle anyway :(

There was a bit of a blizzard last night but it mostly melted as it landed
