It's snowing

Cars in front of me this morning doing 30mph in a 50. FFFFFFUUUUUuuuuuuuuu

Sometimes is people behind have no idea what the conditions are like they only see some guy holding them up.

Once after a heavy snowfall, back in the days when we used to actually get the stuff, I took to the bypass first thing in the morning, put my foot down.... and the car was slithering around like a beginner on an ice skating rink. So slowed right down to a point where it wasn't... and all the up the road... and by the top had a huuuuuuuuge queue of cars behind me - at which point numerous drivers could get past and talk about a blaring of horns, one van even had the windows wound down and the inhabitants were all giving me the finger... sigh.

its snowing in such a way it's like watching an episode of something where theres a volcanic eruption. Kind of pleasant without all the wind...... unlike last time

I was reading my news page this morning about snow in London and south east - then came to pictures and one showed footprints in snow - It must have been at least 1/4" thick - I bet all schools were closed - cars with patches of snow on windscreen and no one had made a move to go out - Glad I live up north - :)

Dave
