Hello.

Stupid question time. I've got to RMA my memory back to Overclockers because Memtest tells me I have well over 8000 errors.

Now, I might have missed it in the email but I don't get a sticker to put on the parcel do I?

I just need to nip along to the Post Office and post it off first class to Overclockers with the address and RMA number on?

I'm not missing some sticker I need to attach am I?

(Whenever I've needed to send something back to Amazon they give me a sticker with their address and pre paid postage on)

Cheers in advance.

Nah you pay for it. Just put your RMA number on the parcel. Pretty sure with faulty items ocuk reimburses you for your postage.

It's only a few quid to post it back so I'm not overly fussed either way, I'm just desperate to get my new PC running perfectly :(.

Now I've just got to find a box the right size and actually get up in the morning to post it, effort :o.

Anyway, thank you Greebo :).

Never did this for mine a few months back, lost the receipt anyway :p

All you do is print off the address as the RMA number is part of the address (sort of).

IIRC you're recommended to put the RMA number on at least two sides of the parcel (I guess to make it easier to tell at a glance).

Yep, I shall do Werewolf :).

Just wondered if there was an 'Amazon type' label I'd missed.

I've now got to find a box the right size / shape to post RAM back :(.

Just do what ocuk do, send it in a box about the size of a suitcase. I've had memory and even just a dvd sent that way lol

Yup this is right, and they also state to use a plain box, don't know if they'd turn you away for some markings though.

I don't have any of the awesome bags of air though.

Amazon are worse than Overclockers by a mile. I get some huge parcels turn up with another box inside then inside that box the actual item. It's like boxception.

Send them some Haribo with it and see if anyone from the shop posts on the Forum about getting Haribo.

If they find the RAM to be faulty, they would offer a replacement or refund?

I'm so desperate to attempt to get this PC working as intended I'm thinking of buying another 16 GB of RAM and just asking for a refund if this memory is faulty.

I'll wait and hopefully get a replacement :).

Then I've just got to decide on sticking with Windows 8 or getting another oem of Windows 7.

If the RAM was DOA then OC's are legally obligated to pay for return postage, you should NOT be a penny out of pocket. Come on guys this is basic consumer law!!
