In Rhodes a couple of years ago.. it was 37degC in the shade.. lovely and you get used to it.

It was over 40degC in the sun yesterday... I was chuffing our BBQ with all food cooked by 1300.. so that I didn't have the sun and the BBQ cooking me from multiple directions. The majority of the 12 guests were drinking soft drinks and water because of the heat.

Today the mrs has sent me her what3words location ///collapsed.on.sofa pretty - I wouldn't like to be in a car attempting to get to the seaside today!

May have to put some shade over the net on the pond.. but at 14,000 litres and almost 2 meters deep, it takes more than a day or two to heat up.

I've been going to the local woods each day and leaving water everywhere for the birds.

Was with the Mrs yesterday in the local woods and a crow was following us for 5 mins walking behind us, it had it's mouth open like it was panting. Poured out some water in a bowl for it and it lapped it up and started having a bath haha.

17 degrees up here now. Will get hotter but maybe not by that much. It's perfect tbh. Love living in Scotland when its like this. Don't miss down South!
