It's too hot :(

I do feel your pain. As you get older it also gets more uncomfortable too, when its either too hot or too cold. There is very little inbetween :) I've lived up here 25 years now, and I still remember some of the awful heat I was subjected to working in London. I'm a ten minute walk from the sea now.

Definitely not looking forward to tomorrow. My room will probably hit upper 20s at least when sun hits it

I really want to move to Scotland! lol, what are the midges like around the time of year / June? When are they at their worst ?
When I was planning a trip to go up there, I was told around May to September is basically midge season. I think mid summer is probably when they're at their worst.

I don't think you'd be affected that much if you're in Edinburgh for example, compared to out of the cities like in the West.

I think I'll be sleeping on the couch these next few nights. It's absolutely roasting upstairs, I just can't deal with it. My living room somehow is able to stay feeling quite cool, and my tower fan does a respectable job at making it much more tolerable. Plus, for some reason, my Oura ring always shows me getting considerably better sleep on my couch compared to my bed, which I've never understood.

Married by any chance?

Walked the dog at 7am, started out at 14C, by the end of the walk it was 19C..

Walking dogs in 25C ism’t necessarily the end of the world, if it’s on grass/soil, it’s the pavement/concrete that will be getting kid 30’s by then and too hot.. but always take plenty of water…

Just about to get my sons new Ninja Woodfire going and try some low and slow cooking of beef and pulled pork.. should take 6 hours.. perfect timing for a nice evening meal!

My personal weather station is saying 32.7C and still climbing!

My house is still lovely and cool downstairs. It's a big old Edwardian house, so takes ages to heat up.

I sat out for a bit, reading. I had to come in after 20 minutes as it's too hot and I worry I'll burn.

I'm expecting to see some horrific cases of sunburn tomorrow.
