Fine if you're near the seaBring on the heat! Best bit about the heat is you can go to the beach and be on/in the water all the way into sunset and not be cold!

They are all loud and heavy, my Meaco one is struggling in these temps.Any recommendations for a portable AC unit, low noise and most important light-ish weight (I have a lot of steps and stairs)

Bournemouth is god awful. You won't catch me going down there. There's so many lovely beaches in the country, yet so many people are obsessed with Bournemouth.Seen the pics of Bournemouth... No way. No way would I even bother going to something like that.
Oxwich was really busy. But I kayaked 4k to a quieter beach and stayed there. Kayak really allows me to escape the horde!
This was looking towards Abergavenny IIRC:

Much nicer than my photo shows - and hardly anyone around compared to the well known named places. I found out how much difference there is between gym fitness and actually getting out there and doing stuff as well - as mentioned before I used to eat this stuff for breakfast in my 20s and 30s - in my 40s and post COVID it was a struggle! despite being pretty active in a workout sense.
I'm in Northamptonshire, nowhere near the sea and after watching that "Dirty Business " programme I don't think I would honestly want to go in the sea.Yeah it definitely helps to go to the sea to enjoy the sea!![]()

I love a quiet beach!

Like Wales! The further west you go, the more the population falls and better the water gets.
Went in yesterday myself. Was fine. Fact is they've been dumping sewage in seas since forever here, I guess at least now you can see on a website when they've done it.I'm in Northamptonshire, nowhere near the sea and after watching that "Dirty Business " programme I don't think I would honestly want to go in the sea.
Once you get past Porthcawl beaches get nice.Like Wales!
People also forget all the waste from the life in the sea but due to the sheer volume of water it's probably well dilutedWent in yesterday myself. Was fine. Fact is they've been dumping sewage in seas since forever here, I guess at least now you can see on a website when they've done it.

Lots of people taking their dogs for a walk first thing this morning. Don't usually see many people first thing in the morning.
We were in the Gower yesterday.Once you get past Porthcawl beaches get nice.
Gower is my favourite in south Wales. Riddled with beautiful beaches
