It's too hot :(

Had a nice drive out around the city, window down, fancied a drink so went to the McDonalds drive thru, they ran out of all fizzy drinks

Just got home and back into the sauna, YES ! :(

We went shopping last night. There was 1 freeze out of 8 or so in Morrison's with any ice cream left in it. By the time we had gone from the freezers through the till and got home (1.5 miles journey) we could have drank our tub of Hagen Dazs

Maybe you should read it and then you might actually stop and think that you are treating the human body like it was a single material. I never said heat transfer would be impossible I said it would be irrelevant compared to what else is occurring. You are wilfully ignoring the dynamics involved.

But feel free to believe what you want. I don't care.

Massive lightning and thunderstorms and hail last night. Work is like a bomb site this morning. Approx 50k damages so far plus the bosses car looks like somebody has been hitting golf balls at it! :O

That was some biblical thunder and lightning last night, i don't remember ever hearing a storm like that before.

Anyone else get a fantastic light show with all the lightning last night? I was woken at one by thunder and went out into the garden to enjoy the show whilst getting soaking from the torrential rain.

Well worth it as I have never seen anything like this before, mother nature at her most spectacular.

I hoped for a great thunderstorm with much rain, but all we ended up with, is flashing in the sky every few seconds. It looks pretty amazing to watch as it passed us by, but it didn't help make the night any easier!

So glad today isn't the same as yesterday.

I've done the washing and have it on airers but can't really put them outside...

Since it was light the sky has been full cloud cover of blotchy light and dark grey.

Occasionally some droplets of rain land and then it stops again.

It's trolling me I'm sure.

Wonderful.

It's decided to become a sustained light drizzle which looks like it'll continue forever.
So the normal British summer? :p
Also how did everyone cope yesterday in the heat? :) Today it seems to be quite nice in my area, not too hot or too cold but I suppose it's going to get hotter as it goes along.

some of the flashes were so bright I had to step back from my bedroom window a few times :D

can't believe how often the thunder was lighting up the sky, proper mental like.

literally every couple of seconds a massive crackle sound and a huge flash :D

non of this boom in the distance rubbish it seemed to be pulverising everywhere for miles around

Walked to work in "light rain" - It was some 21 degrees though with a light breeze too. Feels good man.
