It's too hot :(

Another cool, dull day in Stoke. Saturday was good, Sunday was OK, but today is back to normal.

The week ahead looks to be a good lurch towards Summer weather according to Weather.com, but I've read elsewhere this week is going to be wet and windy. Who to trust?

Either way, this Summer has been one of the worst I've ever witnessed. VitD deficiency is on the rise apparently, which really isn't a surprise.

It's fine today, we have some really nice dark clouds hovering. Last night it seemed hotter then it looked and I didn't even need covers.

Not had a duvet on the bed since june - been either sleeping commando or under a sheet. Dont know the facts but to me this seems like the warmest summer on average for ages!! at least down here in surrey..

For some reason I can't sleep without a duvet over me, or at least some sort of covering, even if its a sheet. Feels weird man.

At least you've managed to get into the 20's. We've struggled to get out of the teens for the most part since the second week of July.

We had 200% rain in July with others less than 50 miles away enduring 240% making it the wettest July since records began. Low 20's, we can only dream about those temps, 14-16C is the norm.

I'd much prefer that to feeling tired, clammy and sweaty all day long.

I'm currently in Southern France and it's showing 36 degrees outside. I have found myself sitting in the air conditioned villa, venturing out for a swim to cool down but I simply can't sit in such heat, even in the shade for any length of time before become so lethargic I need to snooze in the cool.

Well everyone likes different things. I actually like how the sun doesn't feel like infecting us

being in Spain was enough for me to dislike the sun.

The heat isnt so good for larger people. The other day this whale on the bus started shouting repeatedly at a granny because she was too hot. She had sweat all over her, lovely.

I was visiting my folks in Peterborough last week and it was easily mid 20s perhaps a bit hotter. The thing that I remember from living there is the humidity. It's pretty awful and it doesn't really feel any better at night. I like it up here, it hits the 20s still but because I live by the coast now it's fresh and there is very little in the way of humidity. Makes such a difference.
