Hottest day since the beginning of July in Stoke I think. The past 4 weeks have been dire, I'd been close to wearing gloves at night! This is how it's supposed to be and should be.

Currently 30 degrees here in Gravesend, Kent. Took about 30 minutes for my washing to dry. Got the Cricket on the radio, and just opened a nice cold one. Birthday party tonight in a beer garden. Life is good!

I'm due to get married in Cornwall on Monday, was due to be having a BBQ tomorrow night at the venue but looks as though everything is going to be washed out. Wish this weather could just hold on for a few more days!

My workplace is next to a sewage works, so rarely can have windows open.
The whole building has A/C but the higher level management won't repair it.

It really gets hot and sweaty in there. Not nice.

Finally the clouds cleared and the sky is blue. Yet, we just had 5 or so mins of moderate rain. Not a single cloud above. Can't say I've ever seen that before.
