Only have time to water so many, the rest I can't help. We have stacks of stuff growing in pots and watering them all by hand would take all day.I suggest this invention called a watering can

Really doesn't help in this weather. You can only superficially water with a spray gun, and it will evaporate pretty quick. With a watering can you can drench each pot, but it would take all day...Haven’t you got a hose with a nice big spray head?

It's just down to time and the sheer number of pots we have with plants in them.
Ultimately this spell of hot, dry weather is pretty unheard of down here. It's not a problem we face in "normal" years. We're having to prioritise the plants we want to save and it's sad when I noticed something died I didn't get time to water.
As said, well over a month without a proper spot of rain. And it's been 25C every day.
Some people might like that but I sure don't.

Several hundred. How many pots do you have then?
Several hundred.
Yeah that's going to have to be seriously considered.Seeing as these heat waves appear to happen every year now, you could look into investing proper watering solutions.
Depends on the temperature, you’ll still catch the sun even on a cloudy day so prepare yourself.Any ideas how long I’d have to be out there to get a tan?

Do you go brown or red>brown?
Here in Majorca when it’s 32’c, I caught the sun in a few hours without really trying to, if you use the correct sun cream you can tan in 20’c sun in 7-8 hours.Red (but not burnt) > brown
I was out in it for under 2 hours yesterday and it was hazy light cloud rather than blazing sun and I still topped up my tan. Sun is pretty strong nowRed (but not burnt) > brown

You'll know your skin best, if you're not sure just put in some factor 10 or something. So do you think no sunscreen and just go out for half an hour a day for the next few days?
Precursor to skin diseaseWhat is tan?
