I think today has been the warmest, nothing is cooling down at the moment, still very muggy. Keep looking at the weather and hoping for a decent downpour - nowt!

Looks like those storms across the channel are weakening and not really moving north at all. Gutted.

You heard thunder? I've been here since 4pm, all be it 30 minutes for dinner. I've only just come in just now from laying on the deck and not heard any rumbles of thunder.

Utter crazy lightning here right now. Seems to be off in the distance as the thunder is barely audible and yet the flashes are so close and bright. Must be a new strike every other second.

Storms in London keep getting pushed back, now forecast for tomorrow afternoon :mad:

After a cool shower, it's not too hot tonight, though I am sandwiched by two usb fans.

Had a massive downpour here for about 30 mins (about 20 miles west of London). It's stopped now and I'm still boiling hot.
