It's too hot :(

Well it’s cooled down a lot. There’s leaves and twigs everywhere after the last thunderstorm. Really steamy out there now. Hard to see us having many more thunderstorms, but who knows.

I was looking at some window film this afternoon. Any recommendations?

I just used this from Amazon. Obviously it will gain a static charge as you remove the backing sheet so if you can ground yourself or just keep it away from anything it can pick up hair/dust from as you spray it with slightly soapy water. Other than that its simple to install. Buy the correct size for your window glass, cut it just over size and then trim the hight and width with a Stanley blade once its in place. Use a credit card or similar to get the bubbles to the edges. Job done!

34c in the home office today. Had to shut half of my homelab down and I think I've broken a raspberry pi.

Still sweating now, no sign of rain.

The storms last night were insane, bit like a warzone with the sky flashing consistently and a consistent rumble.
We had it for two hours solid.

Here is a photo taken by someone local and then posted in a local chat group on FB, so I am not taking credit for the photo and it is edited but the fork lightning you see was that bright and vivid all night along with lots of flashes, rumbles and sometimes loud cracks/bangs.

Mow Cop. Yeah, I bet that was a cracking place to sit and watch the storm.

Massive storm cloud heading across the channel now, annoyingly the wind is blowing west/north west so it could potentially miss London.

Southampton looks like it's going to get a decent show.

Ah, that was refreshing. Started to absolutely teem down here, massive lightning and rumbling thunder so decided to get on the bike and cycle down to Sainsburys. Was bloody lovely. Plus, I don't have to wash the bike now.
