Scotrail appear to have known about the landslip and flood that caused this but allowed the line to stay open.

Yep, suspect it's actually the drivers footage of the first land slip they posted on their site.Slight breeze in the air now, expected a storm but it keeps getting pushed back. A few rumbles earlier on to the west but still nothing, could do with a bit of rain.
I wouldn't speculate until the RAIB (rail accident investigations branch) have investigated the incident.
From what I've read on a rail forum and what data is available, it looks like the landslip that Network Rail Scotland posted about caused the service to be cancelled and it was heading back to Aberdeen.
Record temps in London, first time since 1961 it's been 34C for 6 days.
