It's too hot :(

Went for a kayak with some randoms on Wednesday in Cardiff Bay, even at 9pm it was so warm. Going to beach on Sunday.

Summer has finally arrived and I love it. I'm so so much happier in summer. So much to do, people seem generally happier.

I don't care its 25c indoors upstairs. I don't care the bedroom is 23c at night.

Gf is struggling to sleep in heat but it's fine for me. She gets jealous of that. Am thankful that South facing bedroom window is shaded by an oak tree though!

Picture is at sunset a week or so ago.. When summer finally begun.

A trifle confused about the “buy plant” bit, are you toying with buying a JCB or similar, or an aspidistra/ rose bush?
At least you can take comfort in the fact that you’ll never have to dodge this tourist.
When travel ever opens up, (if it does), and I start to think of holidays, the only chance you’ll ever have of seeing me in the South West, or anywhere in U.K. come to that, is if my bound for Tahiti via L.A. plane has to make an emergency landing at Cornwall Airport, Newquay.

For someone who’s made their home in the UK, you don’t seem particularly fond of it.

It was as high as 29c earlier apparently, I went on my balcony wearing just socks and almost burnt my feet on the tiles :O

I'm hungry but I don't want to cook just because of the extra heat it would add, got nothing I can eat cold either :S

Good job you didn't sit down then - One hot dog and two fried eggs. ;)

It's quite interesting how many foreign people I know who live here and then complain about it. e.g. there's a Greek girl at work who does it a lot, "I don't like X about this country/you English people do blah blah blah wrong" etc etc.

tell her "get lost back to Greece if it's so great, OH WAIT" didn't the EU bankrupt greece? and now it's German aww diddums"

take a photo of her reaction

Awww its so nice to see them adopting the local culture so fast :)

Can you imagine a British person that doesn't complain :o

29c here, 38c in the garage. Thank god I have draught lager to keep me cool. Pizza oven out ready for later when the kids can go in the garden without suncream.

It had made us both device Aircon is going on the house next year, master bedroom and livingroom.

28c here in Manchester and the paved area in the back garden is reading 37c.

I've probably drank a gallon of liquid so far and still thirsty.

27-32C on Southampton Wunderground app stations, started to feel very hot in the flat in the last ~30mins since the earlier pleasant breeze has died down.

Poor people in Hastings area, looks like they are currently getting some rain.
