Another el scorchio today here too!
Been to beach both days! Kayaking today.

Glorious!

I love your view

I ought to give kayaking a bash or maybe an sup ,always fancied a go on the gannel on a spring tide or Polzeath on a flat summers day

I love it. Get to see the beach from a completely different perspective! And further away from the rabble! :D

One of my happiest places is on water on my kayak.

I don't know where to put this so I'll put it here. I went out last night and it was excruciating. A nightmare. It was like the populous had been possessed. It seemed like everyone - as in everyone - was drunk out of their skulls.

People were shouting, screaming in the streets, sharing vodka by the bottleload on the Tube, blocking street corners in large groups, queuing to get into pubs. What happened?

I was interchanging between lines at Waterloo and I heard a scream behind me, I turned around and some trans guy/girl started following me. I stopped to let them past and they stopped. I started and they started again, matching their steps with mine and walking next to me. It wasn't funny but strange. Their behaviour was unusual and threatening. After a few seconds I took my earphones out and said, "leave me alone". They just looked at me and said, "you're an *******" and flounced off.

It was terribly bizarre, last night. What a strange evening. I hope that people calm down and become more reasonable as they relax into warmer weather. Because yesterday it wasn't like I was living among humans in London, but animals.

Ah yes the drunks on a saturday night don't forget to shut the windows unless you want them yelling obscenties or smashing it with their empty beer glasses. Yes been there seen that. Don't forget once it warms up it'll be marching season in London and by that I mean every weekend there will be a demonstration blocking somwhere in the city or marching down whitehall or protestors laying down and blocking motorways again, not a peep out of them over winter but when it warms up they all come out onto the streets. And of course the odd anti police bill riot playing out. Can't wait eh?

Woke up on Sunday morning to a slew of broken bottles outside our window. Green glass and beer labels everywhere.

The disturbing thing was that people were incredibly drunk on Sat by 7pm. The Tubelines were rioting. It wasn't even late. It was just pathetic more than anything else.

Anyway, it's good to see that the temperature will barely encroach into double figure territory for the next week.
