Summer'ish weather here today, room temp hit almost 25C, Currently 22C.

413x that looks awesome thanks for the photos, If I moved from the city to somewhere rural I am sure I would like the summer more.

Yeah can't imagine what being in a city is like in summer! I always felt for those in tiny flats during lockdown.

I've never lived in a big city except for uni in Sheffield. But even that wasn't right in. And obviously not there for summer.

There are some gems around here. And I'm not even in the really nice part of Wales.

Must be a mineral In the water to create that blue colour. A few of the old quarry pools around here have the same hue

good god you’d think we were in the middle of the Saudi desert the way some of the melts on here go on lol.

Its a little bit warm. That’s it.

Difference is humidity. The drier it is the higher temperatures the human body can withstand comfortably.

I've always been more comfortable on holiday with higher temps than the UK mainly because its less humid.

I love the sweltering heat if I'm holiday and there is a pool.

Less keen on it in the UK as it's much more uncomfortable.

True humidity does make things feel hotter. The only issue with your assesment is that the UK is not very humid. It's middle of the range for heat/ humidity. It's a temperate climate.

Its a special kind of hell reserved for anyone not wealthy enough to afford a home in the country (or without aircon fitted as standard, one thing I noticed from photos of bombed out apartment blocks in ukraine almost all of them had external aircon units more than we can manage over here apparently)

Nice if you're sitting by a pool under a shade sipping a cold drink, not so much stuck in a sweaty office in a suit or worse working outside sans shade

There are cheaper places. Less so to rent I expect. But if you're job location flexible there are some amazingly cheap places in the depths of Wales for example.

You might just have to send your letters by carrier sheep rather than email!

An unusually chilly 13 C here today. in a few days who knows, might be over 30C. Weather here is so variable in spring.
