It's too hot :(

This heat is insane. My idle temps went up 10-15c. Anything I can do about that? Better case? Watercooling? I assume no, as the heat has to go somewhere. But does a better airflow case lead to better temps, or worse as it's sucking in warm air? What about those xbox-sized cases that can sit on your desk, rather than a tower in a corner?

Why worry about it?

Not like we get months of hot summer days here.

More like hot days you can count with the fingers of one, maybe two hands, for a whole year, if we're lucky.

Turn the pc off and go outside!

Why is that an issue? Idle temps will still be way below your peak temps and pose zero risk to components.

25.2ºC in the study, sun hasn't even come round the front of the house yet, and I have a laptop, my main machine, my server, and a 32" monitor all chucking heat out, eek

AMD cpu i run "cool and quiet"? think its called in bios. in win10 power settings i use "best energy saving" and
in advanced settings i set minimum cpu power to 1%.
idle always around 10c above ambient.

You'd think a 65w part on a 200w cooler at stock would be able to take care of itself. And I thought Ryzen Balanced was the best power setting? Doesn't changing bios settings get tedious when you want to game?
