It's so nice today.

Hot, sunny, but here at least there is quite a breeze, so don't feel too bad.

Got borderline sunburned yesterday, so I'm out again with no suncream

Annoying ******* thing though, I ordered some jubilee clips to fix my gas BBQ that I broke trying to modify it.

Gas hose states 8mm, so ordered 7-9mm clips.

They've turned up, of course 8mm is the internal diameter of those hose........


So probably going to have to get up of my arse and go to an actual shop now.

I did an hour and 15 minutes each side yesterday and got very borderline sunburned.

I can't decide whether to go 1 hour a side, or do an hour and 15 again.

I know, difficult life choices......

Those where it isn’t a regular occurrence and aren’t setup to deal with it, yes. To be fair even countries that are setup for it often react in a similar way on extreme days.

Well its not extreme here, its 29c. Just jumped in the pool. (Paddling pool that is before anyone accuses me of being uber rich)

One thing I guarantee. If it's a cold winter there will a lot more moaning that's for sure with the cost of heating

Yesterday was so rough here I took my Kayak out. The sea decided it didn't like this.

A big wave broke right on me and my kayak did a full "point to the sky" then backwards somersault and I was dumped capsized!

These ones in picture are kayakable. The one which got me.. My kayak is 12ft. And the bow didn't get reach the top of the crest! I'd guess it was 7-8ft crest to trough

On the school run, car is reading outside temp is 42c (direct sun) and I’m sat in my EV with the AC on max feeling a little chilly
