Are these type of units ok for cooling a a 13X12 bedroom, or are they generally poor quality at that price?

Is that one of those that can just be vented out of the window when it’s being used. Not permanently.
It will be cool again by the time it arrives
I had a portable one years ago which did cool the house down but was just so damn noisy. Might have another look and see if the newer ones are any quieter.

What a lovely day. Pretty ladies in London in lovely summer dresses, smiling people, just lovely. Iced coffee by the river, and great work meetings I'm sure directly attributable to the weather.

I spent the day in my garden, I have done a lot of work in it, thought I would enjoy it, I got strawberries in a pot, I just grab one walking past, blueberries are coming along fine

We made some filled baguettes and went to our local beach (Overstrand) to sit and enjoy them, then dip our feet in the cold north sea.
Was delightful and only a handful of other people there.
Everyone heads for the tourist trap that is Cromer a couple miles along the coast.
