It's too hot :(

No thanks hate the heat :mad::mad:

Looks like it will be relatively glancing (in terms of exceptional temperatures) albeit could be extreme - a few days of it would be another matter again.

EDIT: Though a crude reading of the model outputs today hints at the last half of the month being horribly muggy and still fairly warm :(

It’s not that bad today here (West Midlands), 25c with 50% humidity. That’s like Hong Kong in February/March. Singapore was 32c with 98% humidity last November and I had to wear shorts.

Still wearing jeans at the moment, although I’m not looking forward to Monday, forecast 36c.

I'm in Singapore for a month in a few weeks. I am NOT built for hot weather. I will die in that heat and humidity lol!

Singapore in August? :cry::cry::cry:

You have a death wish? Or you will once you arrive lol :D you’ll learn to love the AC and come back to realise the weather this week whilst hot, it’s still on the okay side.
Finally someone who understand. People go on about how humid and so called unbearable humidity in the UK have never stepped foot in Singapore. As soon as you step foot off the MRT at City Hall you turn into a pool of sweat within 30 seconds. Orlando is also humid but Singapore is a whole different ball game.

Love this weather, hotter the better. Keeps the other half quiet also, she put a hoody on in Greece last year when it was 30 Celsius on the balcony because she felt chilly

I've been in 50C desert heat, and tropical humid 30C heat. I'd MUCH prefer the 50C.

Yes it bonkers hot, but it's dry. It's the humidity that kills you. In Bangkok, I literally walked from shopping mall to shopping mall (AC'd) to cool down (and dry!) from being outside!

Florida has similar weather to Singapore as well. Was in Florida in April '92. Remember those Global Hypercolor t-shirts that turned colour with heat? I left the apartment at 7am for breakfast and it turned blue within seconds of stepping out.

I dunno how you people do it. I went to Italy some years back in October, but the weather was still decent, in the mid-to-high 20s. I arrived in the early afternoon, checked into my hotel and wore some jeans that first day to wander about. It was absolutely horrendous. My legs were drenched. Anything above 20, I can't handle long length clothes.

I've also enjoyed HK in Apr/May/June, and Japan in August too. A little pocket fan is pretty much a necessity.

Air con on full blast in the office most of the day now. Up till this week I was just using it in the afternoon to take the edge off. Not looking forward to the leccy bill. I'm ignoring the smart meter.

It’s actually raining! Well that wasn’t forecast. Was looking super likely based on the cloud though. 27C and huge drops of rain. Weird weather.

Looks like it’ll be just enough to leave dust marks on the car.
