It's too hot :(

Looks a bit cooler on the coast near Pompey, but slightly inland it's scorchio.


Our lounge is 28C, direct sun in the morning until ~1200, we had curtains closed until sun went around the side.
Yeah there is a lovely breeze off the solent... Makes all the difference.

The last I remember was about 20 minutes of rain shortly after the 40C day and a few downpours back in June. It’s weird to see so many records being broken with increasing frequency, this year has been wild - wind storm, drought, hot, sunniest days etc etc. The climate is broken.
 
Absolutely not a drop forecast here until the 18th :( though the morning dew has been fairly heavy for some reason which as mentioned above helps a little.

EDIT: Fortunately it isn't so dried out here yet there is a risk of wildfire on any scale but not a great area if it does - we are probably OK but some of the surrounding farms, etc. will be right in the ****.
