Vietnam has hit a new high with 44.1c
Thailand has equalled its highest temp with 44.6c.
I wonder what this summer will have in store for us

This might be the year I finally get aircon installed. I'm thinking 5 rooms in total, all the bedrooms and my home office. Can't put a price on a good nights sleep.

I know this system can be added to, so maybe I'll do two rooms to start with and add later.

Getting a quote from a local installer, but had my eye on something like this.....

Best thing we ever did tbh. Why suffer through a hot summer. We wouldn’t suffer through a winter without heating.

Split Air con

Anybody have a split air con setup? I'm wondering if I could get away with a unit installed on the wall in red (external wall). The green is the "landing upstairs" If we assume all the upstairs doors are always open, and the main source of summer heat is actually that red wall (their is a huge...

Yeah, I might just bite the bullet and do it. Question, do the wall units ever leak? Two of them will be on the wall above electrical devices, 4way adapters, xbox etc etc

oh, and one will be above the bed :cry:

I keep wondering whether I should bite the bullet and get proper aircon installed. Is that price including install? I would only need 3 rooms doing. Maybe my bigger problem is I'm in a flat, so I need to check how they fit the (I assume) external unit?

When it says they have WiFi, can they be connected into a Google Home and a Nest Thermostat?

No, excluding fitting. I'm not sure about the wifi but assume daikin have their own app. The samsungs can integrate into google home though.
 
We have just had a short sharp thunder storm with a lashing of hail - Suns out now and it's as though it didn't happen.
