Does anyone know the scientific reason as to why it's hotter during the week (when people are at work), and cold over the weekends when people actually want to enjoy the nice weather?

Think actually it's something to do with the pollution that builds up in cities during the week. Apparently it traps warm air or something IIRC. The pollution is also why it rains more at the weekend...

Leaving the gym earlier felt like i was in an oven.. I usually wear a coat no matter the weather but went out in a t shirt. Glad i did!

Lived in HK for 4 years where it 30C+ and 95% humidity for most of the year. Got used to it, you manage the sweat (vest) and surrender to being a sweaty mess whenever you're outdoors.

Being back in Europe, 30C is a nightmare, no bloody air conditioning! Everyone at the office insists on 'enjoying' the warm weather by opening the windows, agh!

Heh! I'm also surprised to see people praising the current weather. It's usually whinging it's too cold, then we get this and it's usually… too warm! Followed by I wish it was cooler!
