It's too hot :(

It was raining when I got up at 6.30 and didn't stop till 9.30 - Really nice continuos steady rain.

It's been nice out - just warm enough to go about without a jumper on.

Sods law though -It was overcast and as ever a fast jet came over - we are close ish to landing and take off from RAF Shawbury.

They never come over when it's a clear sky.

Maybe it's due to el nino starting. Which is a globally hot period.
Weve been in la nina for years which "masks" the true effect of global warming. So yes. Next year could be much worse globally.

El nino = globally above average
La nina = globally below average

If this plays out, except a deluge of doomsday news with record sea warming and perma ice retreat etc

Wow, that does sounds awful, thought they were perhaps going over the top, as this to me is like far too hot in this la nina, wish the planet would do more to stop it and take it more serious, people saying its glorious when its really hot, sadly means global warming is happening at a frightening rate and nothing glorious about it., whats it going to be like for future generations is scary to think what 50 years from now will be.

well the rain came and pretty heavy i can almost see the banana plants growing, that's the first day in ages i haven't trailed buckets down the garden

So it's rained for about 2 days here. Yet our neighbours watered their water-logged lawn

Saw similar around here about 6 months ago. It rained constantly all day. Eventually it stopped in the evening so took my dog out for a walk. Got around the corner and there was a woman with a hose watering her plants

Not particularly hot today, but still need my air con on as it’s so muggy, it’s oppressive and making me fuzzy headed and sleepy. Feel lovely now though.

Rained a bit here over the last two days, grass has recovered pretty quick and only a few brown spots remain. Summer officially ended today though so probably the type of weather we’ve got to look forward to for the next few months.

We've had two short bursts of rain (ie under 2 hours) since start of may.
But so little by mid morning it's as dry as it was before. Very strange this for down here

All you lucky people getting lots of rain. We've had just about enough to wet the roads twice in the last week. Stop moaning, and while you're at it turn that big heating light in the sky off. It's too hot! :p
