The rain we had has meant the grass has started to have a few green patches in it rather than the uniform brown it has been up to this point

It's significantly worse than air conditioning. It's just a little cool breeze blowing at you, won't have any effect on the room overall.

But - it uses a tiny amount of energy, and only costs £20. Wrong time of year to be worrying about humidity.

I've finally found a very cheap (£22) but very quiet USB fan that is suitable for sleeping. It has 3 modes (Low, Med, High) and optional oscillation, plus nice touch buttons.

Much too hot, also did the garden, no strimmer so I used 1 handed shears then walked up to Hawkes Tor and did my Billy no mates thing again, reckon 8 to 10 miles return but some steep bits, keep meaning to reach rough tor (in the distance) from my house, anyway I had lots of week tea yay

This has to be the best night this year.
Had nice evening meal washed down with bottle of white wine - then sitting out side with tee shirt and jeans supping a glass of brandy and it is so still - No bikes on the bypass -no dogs -kids or cars and surprisingly no birds.
Dead still -no clouds -nothing.
I am in process of cleaning the slabs -done the front.

This was my place last night. Tried to watch Dunkirk in the living room and just gave up and went to the bedroom. With one fan in the bedroom, we need something in the living room so I'm off to Currys in a few hours to hunt down a Meaco.

I really want winter back...for a bit.
