Is it now warmer later in the day then it used to be, I often used to think warmest was around 12-2pm years ago now seems more 3-5pm warmest part of the day

yeah and doesnt ease up through the night , its the walls bricks keeping the heat houses here are designed to keep the warmth in

Absolutely torrential rain here (Cheshire/North Wales) with thunder and lightning, heaviest rain I can ever remember seeing.

I was in Prestatyn at around 2pm and it hammered down when I was on the A55 travelling to Chester. It wasn't raining when I got to Chester but it started soon after and it's very heavy.

Managed to squeeze a bbq in. There was a bit of rain but the bbq has a lid so left that on to cook and smoke the food for a while.
