The hottest I've felt this summer and the only time I've not wanted to go home was the week I spent in Spain... and the temps were only 27-32. We have that here and I'm fine...
Watch Chris packham Earth. It's on iPlayer. Amazing how many times the earth has reset itself over millions of years to get the right ecosystem balance.Feel sad for the penguins and everything else living in the cold parts probably go instinct without any of their own making

TBF even when we lived near Leeds it would be East coast on a weekend 1.5 hours with an early set off was ok plus we stuck a pop up tent in the car as an option to extend the weekend ,if it wasn't the sea it would be Pugneys lake, always loved the waterOh how I would love to live near the sea.

Worst location possible for sea lovers.
Skegness is nearest location but its more like a lake there. To somewhere like Walcott or Sheringham with waves typically about 3-3.5 hours each way.
