It's too hot :(

Least it cools off tomorrow afternoon!

I'm a bit shocked it's October, and it's going to be in the 20s, even mid-20s in London, this coming weekend. I'll be off to Manchester for a little mini break, so I'm definitely not hating the timing :)

Even a non lizard like me is looking forward to this and I have a 4 day weekend, warm not hot days cool nights, lower sun elevation so less harsh ,great surf forecast.
It's an amazing time of year when it's like this imho

will never happen .. google Dalton min it's the next thing thats going to happen .. never mind the beau ford gyre releasing all that fresh water ... -30 winters and +16 summers if we are lucky :) are you rdy for that ?

What makes you think this will happen though, what do you mean +16, 16c will be the maximum summer temp, if so, sounds like a dream.

Oh how I would love to live near the sea.
TBF even when we lived near Leeds it would be East coast on a weekend 1.5 hours with an early set off was ok plus we stuck a pop up tent in the car as an option to extend the weekend ,if it wasn't the sea it would be Pugneys lake, always loved the water
Edit moved on to Coliford lake

Try Leicester. :(

Worst location possible for sea lovers.

Skegness is nearest location but its more like a lake there. To somewhere like Walcott or Sheringham with waves typically about 3-3.5 hours each way.

yeah that is tricky, we had neighbours from hell so drove down to our seasonal pitch an insane number of times and it was only £500 a season and the van left on the pitch
we do get a lot of people from the midlands locating here, a young lad i know pays £325 a month for a house share all in but with family its different, we had to wait until the kids left the nest

No different from a summer day here in Polzeath today, lifeguards, bare flesh just better waves, so better than summer Vibe tbh, pretty busy though as a a lot of surfers for this long period swell
Edit Baby bay, Polzeath today, lush
