It's too hot :(

I like it warm not hot, if my body is taking action to reduce my temp by sweating profusely I can't see how that's enjoyable, to me it's like drinking alcohol you get to a sweet spot and after that things go down hill.
All imho off course ymmv
Edit my sweet spot 23c maybe or slightly higher with low humidity

There is no need for temps above the low 20s imo, getting sweaty doing anything is not fun.

22 with no breeze, up to 25 with a decent breeze is my ideal scenario.

"No need". lol
There's every need. If it's not 30+ it's defined as no summer having occurred in my book. :)

It’s very presumptuous, but I’m sure many of those who complain of struggling when it goes over 16 degrees are overweight. I had an overweight pal (RIP Lennie) who sweated like a Turkey at Christmas as soon as it got over 14-15 degrees.

:)
I think you just called a shed load of people fatties. I do agree with your point though. The majority of people in my office that complain of it being "too" hot, are not your fit, gym goer/exercise/healthy types. It's just an observation.

in this country 15c is the perfect temperature, anything hotter than 15c and I just want to lounge about doing nothing in a tshirt and boxer shorts..

20c+ in the UK always feels like how 30c+ feels in Europe

I guess a lot of you are running aircon though so don't care and can't fathom whilst others don't enjoy the summer so much

Obese people can’t thermoregulate as well as people of a normal weight. They may argue this, but it’s been proven many times in scientific studies.

Can we change the thred title to It's 2 bloody hot.:(
I think It’s lovely and warm would be much better.

I don’t complain about hot weather or cold weather for 2 reasons.

1. This is the UK. Since prehistoric times it has been cold in winter and warm/hot in summer. I just accept it, it’s nature.

2. What is the point in complaining about something that no one can do anything about? It’s just a fruitless and frustrating venture.

Well yes, what can one person do to make any measurable change to such issues. Recycle a few more pizza boxes, lower your central heating by 2 degrees?

You mean..... down to the sub-zero temps of 22°C in your case?

What’s your point?

I like it warm, but I don’t come on here whinging when it’s cold out like the Eskimo’s do when it’s hot

No, that's true... You save all your temperature related "whinging" for this thread trying to write rebuttals to almost every post complaining that its too hot.... In a thread who's sole purpose is to have people complaining about how it's too hot (thread title is a clue)...

Well then, I say we should have a summer thread where moaning about it being too hot is banned.
