It's too hot :(

disagree with the gym part unless you have one with full on AC, its not enjoyable when its warmer, end up over heating / sweating which does effect you pushing as much thats pretty much with any activity with intensity , much better when its colder

imo its easier to warm up and stay comfortable over trying to stay cool and comfortable

I find it harder to train when it's cold :) We're all different though! I get fitter and more committed to exercise when it warms up, but also with MMA you get sweaty regardless, it's just nice when its warm as you get less injuries as you tend to cramp up less.

It's all personal / anecdotal though - I'm just wired to thrive in warm weather. I come alive when the sun is out, and when it's bright early in the morning.

*Raises hand*

I love snow. I love crisp air. I love dark mornings and evenings when you can see the stars.

But if your talking about 'winter' which is just damp and overcast well, that's not winter and it's just stupid but it's quite often what we get here unfortunately.

Actually, I think what I like are actual seasons. Proper distinguishable seasons. Although I must admit I find in more difficult to keep cool in summer than keep warm in winter.

Anything over 30 degrees can do one though. :)

I love the snow, and I love crisp winter days when it's sunny and snowy. Hence why I enjoy skiing and going to countries that can actually cope with cold weather.

I don't mind the seasons, I just don't like the dreariness of winter, I like sunshine and not have to wear 100 layers to stop my fingers and toes from being numb. I also don't like how dark it is all the time in the winter.

I never thought of a Ceiling fan to be honest.
I've started considering one in the last couple of days too. Reasonably simple solution to get air moving overnight, probably gives you 2-3ºC more tolerance on the bedroom temperature (which we struggle to drop below 21ºC on the warmer days).

fair enough hotter weather makes me more lazy, I know I cant push as much no matter how mentally I push myself once you start over heating doesnt matter , cold weather after few minutes in I dont even feel the cold I actually warm up and very comfortable but not to the point I have to fight it mentally unlike when its hot, dont get me started on sweat on bars and seats

Also sleeping is important for recovery and I dont sleep as well in warm weather as i do when its cold, with the building designed to keep the warmth in

I love the blazing hot days and clear sky warm evenings where you can be in shorts at 10pm

What I hate is the winters we have in the UK now.
Except it isn't just winter.
Its half the year of wet, cold misery.

None of my hobbies are fun in the wet and wind. I'll do them, but they aren't as nice as when it's dry.

Temperature is fairly irrelevant, but wet and overcast is just grim

Yeah I sleep better when it's warm - and it's critical to recovery. I find it hard to motivate myself to go to my garage when it's cold.
