The worst thing about this weather where I am is that with any breeze you get the lovely pungent aroma of sewage treatment from both Portswood and Millbrook.

Same temps today but the difference (which is massive) is that there is a breeze. It felt really nice in the shade.

SAS selection is one of the toughest physical challenges going.

But then people who get selected have to be exceptional, and have to operate in some of the toughest situations going.

The failure rate is high, even though already fit service personnel do months of extra physical training to try and get through it :eek:

As for the weather, it is lovely. I am not a sun kind of person but I cant complain. Life just feels better when the sun is out

Feels like we are actually having a summer this year, which is great. Day after day of glorious weather! Whoo hoo :cool:

I hate complaining it is too hot as we have had some horrible weather this year.

But in all honesty it is starting to get me down. I am not sleeping well because of the heat and then I have to go to work in a boiling hot office.

Just wish there was a rest bite even for a day so I could catch up with some sleep.

This hot weather is absolutely amazing. I'm loving every minute of it. Can't wait to BBQ this weekend!
