It's too hot :(

:p Don't know about you but I still find 17-19 degrees what it's still averaging daily too hot and humid in work, driving, going the gym etc and of a night even with windows open I still find it hard sleeping properly. It's annoying going out for the day and having to put on a jacket etc because of rain which means I am then sweating cos it's still warm and clammy :( Summer always has been and always will be my least favourite month

We get some epic weather in SW France. It was mid 20s in April and into the 30s by May. August has been pretty poor though. It actually dropped to 15c in the daytime, which is more like a good day in November/December.

"The Taiwanese capital recorded a 12th consecutive day of temperatures above 36 degrees Celsius Wednesday, a record since the founding of the Taipei weather station 120 years ago.

The Central Weather Bureau (中央氣象局) also noted that so far in August, there had been 11 days when the mercury reached 37 degrees."

Ah screw this country :p Still, we're due a typhoon shortly, which should help. France sounds nice.

Charts for the next couple of weeks are all over the place - couple of chances of some reasonably warm weather but lots of signals for rain and one bit descends to almost wintery weather with even potentially a chance for frost in parts of Scotland.

I predict a warm Sept/Oct as has been the pattern for the past decade or more- a warm April/May followed by a fairly unremarkable "summer" through June/July/Aug rounded off by a warm Sept/early Oct.

Scorchio in central Southampton at ~29C currently, a much more tolerable ~25C up around Witts Hill... It's like early June again!
