It's too hot :(

I went the gym and washed 2 cars today. It was a bad idea lol. Drank 4 bottles of water in 5 hours to stop myself dehydrating was sweating buckets. Haven’t slept properly in a few nights either it’s just to clammy.

I am watching 121 acres of park dieing in front of me. No green grass at all and the trees are going funny.

Brutal weather to say the least. :(

Why do you go to the gym to wash cars ?
Lol :p mistyped. I went to the gym sweated about half my body weight and then went home and washed 2 cars inside out which took me about 3 hours. I’m now burnt from standing in the sun for 3 hours and dehydrated lol

We bought a portable air conditioner last year, absolutely love it. Only really any good for a single room but we have it in the bedroom and it's fantastic if noisy. I'll get a proper split unit fitted when we buy a house.

Indian guy at work tells me that the temp regularly goes above 50deg in his home town, I think I'd die.

Next time go to a car wash
No thanks the one and only car I took to the local car washing place twice ended up with swirl marks all over the paint because the idiots stand about 2ft away with a powerful jet washer. I’ll just not bother washing it again until the heatwave dies down. Saying that we will probably all be slapped with a hose pipe ban soon enough anyway if this weather carries on :D.

ugh, 28c in here, proper dying.

anyone had proper air con installed - those wall mounted things like at the premier inn? what's the rough cost of that?

Yoy can get a kit ffrom £400'ish pre charged (normally; probably massive demand at the moment), and they are a fairly easy DIY fit.

Yeah we did Aqualand last year, also western water park, pirate show etc, all good fun. :)
I'm going in 40 days to Majorca and staying right next to aqualand in the blue sea Costa hotel,it's the last hotel on the strip and 5 minutes walk to the park, through the hotel they do a week pass for the price of one day, myself and my daughter went quite a bit and went on every single ride :)
This is our second time to the hotel and went last year and was pretty damn nice to be honest, nice quiet hotel and nice beach near by.

You are roughly a 30 minute drive from Palma, give or take for traffic, you should check it out, lovely cathedral with the shops, restaurants and the indoor market inside, really nice place to be. :)

Be wary though that with it being the capital, some places are very expensive, expect to pay upwards of €10 for a coke in some places!

I hope you have a good time. :)

Been a resident of Majorca and been to Palma many a time,I've so many photos of the cathedral as well, going up north this year as I've got a friend who lives there and want to show my daughter some old fashioned Spanish culture and some good old home cooked food.

Nice. :) this holiday will be my 7th time to Majorca, I have thought about relocating but the job prospects aren’t readily available but I’m certainly made for the beach life. :)

32’c here in Majorca but a pleasant breeze which is constant when sitting by the shore. :)

Was 32c here today, at least according to the thermometer in the car. Spent the afternoon cutting a hedge. Hasn't rained for nearly a month and hay fever is absolutely killing me!

Decided to swap a few hotel loyalty points for a few nights in a fully air-con'd hotel for the next two nights. Can't wait to sleep properly!

Ooh, nice idea.
