It's too hot :(

Have to say, I have never really understood why people would willingly spend money on actually traveling to places that are even hotter and/or more uncomfortable than Britain in the summer! :/

Well, I prefer warm water in the sea and tropics-like flora, which means places like Barcelona or Valencia ;)

It was 37 degrees in my partner's apartment last night, both of us ended up feeling like this;

Rain again, rain again,
Cooling my brain again,
Feeding the green again,
Leaves are refreshed again,

Rain again, rain again,
Fuelling the grain again,
Feeding the stream again,
Leaves me refreshed again.

Rain again, rain again,
Don't leave us so long again!

No rain in Swindon yet, but the temperature has moderated slightly - when I left for work car temperature sensor was reading 21C. Nice to run sans air conditioning just put the window down.

Still struggling with the daytime sleeping but good news after tonight only two to go! (And I normally get up at mid-day off the last night anyway).

Woken up by the sound of heavy rain here, big glorious fat raindrops, the sound is so satisfying lol... it’s making me want to go outside and get soaked

It's rained a good bit overnight in Nottingham which is welcome and it feels cooler at the moment. It has that feel of holiday morning though that start cloudy/cool then burns your socks off later.

It just rained here in Birmingham for a massive minute or two...enough to dampen the roads, better than nothing I suppose.

According to BBC weather we're currently in the midst of heavy rain, with temps of 61f.

It's 75f in my bedroom with the windows wide open. :/

Going to drag my old legs out of bed and cycle down to the reservoir, at least there's a nice gentle cool breeze at the moment.
