It's too hot :(

Had the thermostat sat in the sun for about an hour, it's reading 42.5°C.
24°C in the shade for about 25mins
Just dug a post hole and now having another cold lager:)

Gotta say, sitting by the river near the Excel earlier having a pint was most agreeable.

Perfect temp tonight for the dog walk.According to the met weather app it was shown as 12°C but I would say more like 17°C as I didn't put a jumper on and my cold hand was only slightly chilly. Keep this up and I will be fine

Lol, I always bring a jumper to work as the they go mad with the aircon. I've had to put it on, I'm almost shivering. Complete waste of money, its all AI driven these days, no manual controls anywhere.
We have one office here where they go the other way and usually it's so hot it makes you feel unwell if you have to spend anytime in it . I hate those no manual or centrally controlled systems.

I think the building management company has a gone a bit mad with the air con since they installed 5MW of solar panels earlier in the year.

Maybe, places I have worked ( metal fabrication) I would invariably be furthest from the single heater, freezing in winter and baking in summer.
