Trying to get into shade makes a huge difference with vehicles - annoyingly very little of it in the car park at work and people desperately trying to make the most use of the little shade there is as possible :s

I don't use it very often but I've got a 5x3m camping tarpaulin/canopy thing with poles which does make a difference to keep the sun off the vehicle itself.

Yeah I managed to get the van into a covered car park which is very usual for a high top but while that means the sun isn't beating down on the van and it wasn't as bad as it could be it was still insanely hot in there. The other issue now is I've had no solar.

It was nearly 28c when I went to bed last night. Woke up to a wet pillow where I had been sweating. Not the best night. Cloudy with a few spots of rain this morning. Hoping the temperature goes down a good bit today.

Raining on and off all morning here which has been lovely!

Still meant to hit around 23/24 later today but it does feel a lot cooler. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) my daughter woke up at 3am wanting a drink so after she'd had some water and went back to sleep I opened up a ton of windows so by the time we all woke up a few hours later the house had already started to cool down.

Nice breeze developed last night which has made the lounge feel much more nicely fresh this morning, after a night with the pedestal fan on turbo due to 27C at 2200ish.

A nice 19C outside with some very light rain, that is expected to stop soon, roads are so hot from last few days that the rain has evaporated off already.

Dangit! The rain has stopped and it was more a drizzle (much needed one albeit) than an actual rain fall. Air is starting to clog again, but at elast the temp has come down a bit. Not sure how this will play later in the day if that was all though...
