To get back on topic going gay will not solve your problem in fact they will make them worse. If you are turning gay to spite your girlfriend she will surely find it disgusting. You may also freak out your friends. Best way to spite her is to get another girlfriend who is more attractive than her but is an honest genuine person as (from my experience) most people envy that quality.
Seriously it's not a good idea to do this, unless you are genuinely more attracted to men than women, in which case it is natural. Society has a problem with gay people, and I whole heartedly sympathise with all the gay people out there, however if you were not born finding yourself attracted to men then stay that way. Just because you are having problems with your girlfriend does not mean all women are like that. keep searching and you will find someone right!
