I'm not great with software, partitions, images etc. I understand setting main boot drives and slave in the bios but I have never really gone any further than that.
Until now my 1tb Spinpoint F3 has been my primary drive with OS, photos, games literally everything on but I have a 500Gb internal drive that I keep in the draw (not part of the computer) that I manually copy all my personal media to every so often. For arguments sake I have around 200Gb of stuff I Do Not want to lose.
What I have now decided to do is install a 500Gb Barracuda drive permanently and set it up to backup monthly. I used Seagates DiscWizard software and created a backup. My question though is why is the backup of 269Gb only 119Gb?
Hope that makes sense...
Much appreciated
