Nelson said:Jack Daniel's - sour mash whiskey
Jim Beam - entry level bourbon. Nice with a mixer and ok neat
Southern Comfort - whiskey flavoured liqueur
If you want a nice sipping bourbon I highly recomend Maker's Mark - smooth & flavoursome.
Ive used the site a few times for various orders, all went smoothly nice n quickly delivered although you may look like an alcoholic as the boxes they are shipped in are plastered in "thedrinkshop.com" lolKaHn said:Have you actually used that site? I've been looking at some rather nice single malts from there but I haven't went through with the process yet.

JB Black is much nicer, as is a whiskey sour made with JD - you can get a real cheat version in the pub by having a neat JD (pref a double) with a shot of lime in it.. certainly hits the spotiBot said:Jim beam (White) is too spicy it's like drinking spice girl wee i imangine.

Never tried it, more expensive than JD though? JD is good for drinking all night if you're out on the lash, bridges the gap between crap spirits such as vodka and "proper" spirits.fatiain said:Woodford Reserve > JD

Not really a voddy fan at all tbh, reminds me of being at college and trying to be coolsemi-pro waster said:Do you drink 'decent' vodka or just house/well vodka? I know there are a vast variety much the same as any spirit but to me it's for girls, cocktails and cheap student nights.lol, vodka rocks all over JD, even the cheap ones. And then you get to the decent onesriddlermarc said:Never tried it, more expensive than JD though? Don't have it too often anymore , tend to go a bit OTT - had a litre of it last time and didn't feel too great the next day![]()
Aye, it is french but its still the best (FACT, the drink's tagline is 'the world's best tasting vodka')semi-pro waster said:I'd have to disagree, it is nice but I don't think it is nice enough to warrant the price they charge for it. riddlermarc - fair enough, I disagree but that leaves more vodka for me![]()

Stoli isn't bad but the only ones that come close to GG for me are Belvedere and Armadale. Boru is very smooth but I don't like the aftertaste.
