Hi Guys and Girls,

Bit of a silly question so I'm sure I'll get some silly answers but anyway here it goes.

My girlfriend loves Jaffa Cakes, it's a real serious obsession. For Christmas I want to try and make her something with Jaffa Cakes and their boxes.

What I'm thinking of is making a heart of Jaffa Cake boxes and I need ideas on how to go about doing this. So far I've thought of getting some wire similar to wire coat hangers and shaping it into a heart and then threading the boxes around. Also maybe making a wooden frame and sticking the Jaffa Cake boxes to this.

Anybody got any good ideas or experience with doing this :p

all i can say is that well.. in a non raging hom way, i wish i was your missus... i too have a bit of an obsession with the cake of jaffa!

I've looked in to the giant Jaffa Cake but I may lack the culinary skills to pull it off, especially with only 9 days left to learn!

If you don't mind spending a bit take the recipe to a cake place nearby.

They could probably whip it up but it would be expensive.

cheaper option bribe any of your mates/mates GF to help with booze or chocolate :p

Why don't you get her a packet of Jaffa Cakes in next day or two and take photos of the two of you eating them and just acting like fools taking photos as you devour them.

She'll forget all about it the next day (women meh!) you can then take the best fotos and make a collage out of them, put in nice frame or make frame etc.

Hey presto, cheap, fun, original & memorable.

EDIT: Also far easier than "threading boxes through wire mesh to make a heart" - plus she'll like it more too!

Why don't you do a jaffa cakes hamper, see they do jaffa min rolls, mini jaffa cakes, jafa cake bars and then the original jaffa cakes
