I have got this preordered (it's actually been despatched today) and looking forward to it. Can I take it from the lack of official thread or talk of it round here that no one else thinks it will be up to much?
Bizarre Creations obviously have previously made the PGR series and The Club - both of which I enjoyed.

Any thoughts?

I'm still unsure about this, i loved the PGR series though.
Didn't rate The Club too mush, thought it was a bit shallow.
Any news on a demo for blood stone?

The problem is that its a Bond game so you can count on one had how many that have been actually good, only ones been great. The thing thats going for this game is that theres no movie to tie-in to, so it should have its pick of scenarios with a very thin plot to hold it together...

And The Club was poor...

ps3ud0

Stupid pre-Google question, but is this game based on the next Bond movie or is it just using the Bond licence?

IGN are hardly worth listening to, they gave Metro 2033 a 6.9, they obviously played a different game to 90% of other reviewers.

I didn't like Metro 2033 either, spent too much time straining my eyes trying to see. I'm sure it's a decent game it was just too damn dark and hurt my eyes :(

As for the Bond game, definitely on my rental list but I don't plan on buying at full price.

Eurogamer have gave it 5/10. Gonna call them an average site with no credibility too?

Face it, it's just another game cashing in on the Bond license.

True... I wonder what has happened to Bizarre Creations of late. They haven't really been releasing mind blowing games like they used to..

Before I get blasted, Bizarre Creations were the ones who created the award winning Formula 1 for the PS1, MSR for Dreamcast and PGR for xbox followed by the amazingly good fun PGR4 for 360.

These were good, addictive and very well crafted games for the time. Now, blur was, lets face it no up to their PGR standards, the club was lacklustre and now this is being met with less then warm reviews..

It is a shame, as this game could and should have been so much more considering it wasn’t a movie tie in. Great concept that appears to get stale, I’m thinking of a rental mind as I’m a bit of a bond fan, who isn’t? Don’t answer that… lol

Eurogamer are an average site with no credibility, never read any of their reviews because they can't review games for their life.

It got a good Gamespot review (7.5).

They said it starts brilliantly, then fizzles off for a while, then gets going again about half way through. They did say it's got hugely poor multiplayer though.

Sounds like a great rental

Its a typical bond game, pretty much the same as the last film related one. Same style and you seem to spend the majority of the time chasing someone down, only to miss them at the end of the level!

6/10
