Rory will offer you a mighty long throw that will result in about two goals a century, big ears and longsleves to be honest he's a bit dodgy and I can't believe he is still our record transfer oops!
 
Quincy OA has joined Spartak Moscow from Arsenal in a permanent move, I thought he was half decent?

And Pongo has joined Blackburn 'til the end of the season from Liverpool.

Really shocked that Quincy has gone. Thought he had a lot of potential and maybe a loan deal would have been ok.

Bently has also gone but not too bothered about that. Didn't think he was coming back anyway.

Nah not really, had a lot of promise, loved the step overs, but little end product. Would only be effective as a sub. Once Walcott and Adebayor came in the writing was on the wall.

Bentley has signed for Blackburn, can't say I'm sorry to see him go

And just for Gilly, Henry is in the Squad to play the Spammers tomorrow night.

Yeah i checked before i posted and it wasnt official on either, just changed though.

Shame he has to go to a different team to get 1st team experience, would rather him in the squad than Cisse or Morientes and he'd be useful in europe.
 
Yea pongolle is good, I like him. In europe, morientes is good in europe, but he cant hack it in the prem, no Idea why, even international he's good, isnt it 30 goals in 40 games or something daft. more than 1 in 2 games anyway.
Cisse is a donky and his attitude stinks, but his raw pace and shot power have the ability to get some goals.
I think in summer we should keep crouch, fowler and morientes or pogolle (see who has better end to season now pongolle is regular), sack cisse few teams want him and buy someone who could play off crouch well, (owen would have done the job) defoe is my personal favourite then we would be sorted with a right winger (SWP :D ).

Bit suprised by Quincy's move, I thought he might get better with time, but he's been sitting in no-mans land between the first team and the reserves all season. Lupoli and Bendtner are on fire for the latter, and he was up against Henry, RvP, Bergkamp and Reyes to get in the former, which was asking a bit much of him.

Hope he does well elsewhere though.

EDIT: Oh ffs, now Lauren is injured for a month too. LB is cursed. :(

Yep, losing Quincy is a blow - he looked hugely impressive for Holland U21s.

On the flipside, I've been saying for a while that we have obscenely good strength in depth as far as forwards go, so offloading these two, and hopefully Bergkamp and Pires in the summer won't damage our side and may help to free up some money to bring in a defender. Wonder how much we got for him and Bentley.
