It's that time of year when the rumours start to fly so I start you off with a few:

Liverpool have identified Martín Montoya as their preferred full-back target and hope to agree a deal with Barcelona for the Spain Under-21 player in the January transfer window, even though he will be out of contract next summer.

Cruzeiro have insisted that Manchester United have not made contact about signing wing star Everton Ribeiro. Speculation has intensified in recent weeks about the future 24-year-old, who has just played a starring role in Cruzeiro's domestic title triumph.

Chelsea 'close' to deal for Spurs and Liverpool target Jackson Martinez as agent flies in. Martinez has been linked with Tottenham and Liverpool as well as the Stamford Bridge outfit but it now appears that Jose Mourinho is in pole position to land the 27-year-old.

At today’s press conference Jose Mourinho saying he wants Mata/de Bruyne to stay, had offers for de Bruyne and won’t be buying a striker.
 
The Fredy Guarín move to Chelsea story rumbles on:

Inter Milan have rejected a £13 million bid from Chelsea for Fredy Guarín, their Colombia midfielder, but are prepared to sell the 27-year-old once their £15 million valuation is met.

José Mourinho is eager to bolster the centre of Chelsea’s midfield to consolidate his team’s position as Barclays Premier League contenders and his leading target is Guarín, who can also play on either wing. Negotiations are at an advanced stage.

Inter Milan have confirmed that Fredy Guarin would be staying at the club in January and his agent has stated there was never an offer from Chelsea.

Being reported that he's got an agreement with Chelsea and he's refusing to play against Porto today (O Jogo).
 
Sky reporting that Inter Milan president claims Fredy Guarin has an offer from a 'big club' and cannot be 'forced to stay'. He must for heard about Chelsea's Matic bid.
