There is money to spend, its just not being spent. Although, with Silvios other half now having more of a say in things, i dont know whats gonna happen.

All i do know is that Silvio has said that he wants his grave stone to say 'The chairman that didnt sell Kaka'.

At least theres some hope there, as at the moment, with all of our injurys and our awful back luck in front of goal (14 crossbar/goalpost hits! :eek:

), Kaka is basically carrying us at the moment.

Seemed to score frequently after a decent run of games. Guess he has had a few injury problems though?

In other news, Rossi going back to Man United in January. Thank god too. Completely wasted at Newcastle with Roeder. Think Fergie feels exactly the same and I can imagine he is very frustrated with his lack of opportunities considering thats exactly what he went there for.

Rafa has said he would be interested in SWP but has said that he beleives that Chelsea would demand more cash from us than they would from others and has admitted that its unlikely they will make a move for him.
Sounds a similar situation to the Duff deal, it was rumoured that Chelsea turned down bigger offers from both Liverpool and Spurs because they didn't want Duff joining them.

I doubt Chelsea would sell SWP to Liverpool they'd rather see him go back to city or west ham, pompey etc

I doubt United will buy Bent he has his good moments but is rather inconsistant and Charlton need him if they are to get more than 9 points this season

Last season 43 appearances and 10 goals this season 7 appearances and 2 goals. One of the ones this season was a penalty aswell. He has done nothing and is struggling to hold down a first team place. Don't get me wrong when he joined i like him but he is fustrating me by the week, he is inconsistant and has never really settled. Not worth the 6mil we paid.

yeah but even so he has been poor, i have seen him plenty when he was at Southampton, and was banging in shots from everywhere, as others have said, he has just not settled in.

But he only did that for one season a'la Kevin Philips. His time has passed.

They do include subs and last seasons include all competitions and matches but still it is poor, for a striker anyways

Would be a stupid signing now. They needed a player like him about 3 seasons ago, when they had to make do with players such as Van der Meyde and Killy Gonzalez with no disrespect couldn’t really fill the void they were having in that area.

Personally, i just want us to sign someone, anyone. Really, i'd take Traore at this point.

Now that Milan Mandaric looks like he will take over the club (Leicester). He is gonna replace Rob Kelly which is a good thing, but rumour is that Jamie Redknapp is gonna be our new manager :confused:
